Monica + Holden | A Skagit Valley Wedding at Maplehurst Farm

I loved hearing about Monica’s vision for her day: greenery, breakfast for dinner, and all the amazing vintage vibes at Maplehurst. It’s a really unique venue in that they have tons and tons of antique plates, milk glass, dishes, and more that you can choose from to style your wedding. I’ve never seen anything like it before. They also had amazing antique couches that we just had to incorporate…. you’ll see. All in all, it was a day about love, simplicity, fun, and DANCING.

Camille + Erik | Seattle Urban Industrial Wedding at Metropolist

You can go your own way. You can get married how you want, when you want, with or without a bridal party. You can do things traditionally or nontraditionally, or any blend in between. You can have a first look and also walk down the aisle together, making this decision to commitment in unison. You can do your wedding however you want. Just let me know what time to be there.

Hayley + Brandon | A Mt. Rainier Wedding at Nisqually Winds Mountain House

I remember exactly where I was when I met with Hayley and Brandon over the phone to talk about capturing their wedding. In my purple office chair, at my desk, with my baby in his bouncer on the floor next to me — my toe gingerly tapping to keep him sleeping. This was how I spent most days last winter. The coming summer seemed so far away.

We met for their engagement session and I fell in love with them. So grounded, honest, easygoing and kind people. I was not just a vendor to them, which is my most heartfelt wish for every couple I work with. Hayley and I became buds on social media and when I showed up for this day it felt like greeting old friends. At the end of the night, we stood just outside the gathering, looking in at their loved ones, and I felt sad to go.

Life is about people, people.
