Friends call me loyal, thoughtful, sincere and a little goofy. I can't do anything without smiling. Like seriously, in grade school my teachers called me "smiley" because I was always. smiling. always. For me, life's too short to be serious, and the best moments always come from unexpected people and situations. There's gold to be found in everyone and everything.
My journey to wedding photography actually began with my own wedding. I loved every single second of planning my wedding, and spent countless (countless!) hours staring at wedding photo galleries with a glass of wine, cat in lap, and choking up once or twice while scrolling through. Wedding photography is magical. The day will go by, your memory will soften, yet your images hold emotions like they're fresh out of the heart forever. And it never expires! I thought I was just obsessed with planning my wedding, but it turned out I was obsessed with the images that represent the love between two people and the day that you get dressed up and say some big words that bind you forever.
I am a believer in true love. My husband and I have been together for over a decade, and let me tell you, marriage just rocks. Having a life partner to support you in your dreams, feel excitement about your future, hold you when things get hard, snuggle up and watch Star Trek and eat pizza when Seattle winters get too dark, go on adventures with and just live life with -- it's the best. Being little, I didn't always dream of a big floofy wedding, but I did dream of living my life with an amazing partner by my side. I feel so lucky to have found my person!
And now, here you are, fully in love and about to embark on this incredible life journey and the decisions are a-plenty. I'm really, really excited for you. And I'd love to meet you, to learn what brought you together, to hear about your dreams as a couple, and to see if I might be the right fit to photograph your big day.
Please contact me for more information or to book. I'd love to get to know you over a cup of coffee, cold IPA, or old-fashioned phone call. The best part is that through every step of the picture-making process we create a friendship that puts you at ease in front of the camera, resulting in images that you love! No such thing as a silly question.
