Vale Matcha | Commercial Interior Photography in Seattle

A Thoughtful Take on a Matcha Bar in Belltown

Located in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, Vale Matcha brings a considered design perspective to the matcha bar experience. Designed by Design Well Spent, the space offers an opportunity to explore how thoughtful interiors shape the way we experience a place.

I photographed the space with an emphasis on the details, materials, and overall atmosphere, capturing the interior in a way that feels true to the design.

Design in the Details

The spaces I’m most drawn to are the ones where every decision feels intentional. From the overall composition to the smaller finishing details, good design creates a sense of cohesion without needing to overcomplicate things.

Photographing hospitality spaces is about more than documenting the interior. It's about capturing the feeling of being there and the elements that make a place distinctive.

For DWS, I focused on the relationship between the interior design and the experience of the space, creating a collection of images that showcase the work of the design team while giving the brand visual content for its own marketing.

Hospitality Photography in Seattle

I work with interior designers, hospitality brands, and creative businesses to create editorial photography that showcases their spaces and tells a story about their work.

Whether photographing a neighborhood café, a thoughtfully designed restaurant, or a boutique hotel, my approach centers on natural light, considered composition, and the details that give a space its character.

I'm always excited to collaborate with designers and independent brands who care about the visual identity of their spaces.
