A Thoughtful Renovation in Issaquah | Interior Photography

Some homes feel collected over time, with a mix of natural materials, vintage pieces, and thoughtful details that make them feel personal rather than overly designed.

This Issaquah home, a collaboration between Brooke Solinsky of Brooke Anne Studio and Jen Tamblin of Drift Interior Architecture, is a beautiful example.

The renovation reimagined an older, compartmentalized home into a warm, layered space designed around family life. Natural stone, white oak, unlacquered brass, and rich, earthy colors bring depth and character throughout, while thoughtful changes to the layout make the home feel more connected and functional.

I photographed the home to capture the details that make it special, from the material combinations in the kitchen to the quieter moments throughout the living spaces.

A Collaboration in Design

What makes this project particularly special is the collaboration behind it. Brooke brought a clear vision for the home, while Jen helped translate that vision into a thoughtful architectural plan. The result feels personal and timeless, balancing classic European influences with the character of the Pacific Northwest.

The renovation also marked the beginning of a new chapter for Brooke, inspiring her to pursue her own design business, Brooke Anne Studio.

The home was recently featured in Rue Magazine, sharing the story behind the renovation and the people who brought it to life.

Interior Photography in Seattle and Beyond

I love working with interior designers and architects who approach their projects with this level of intention. My approach to interiors photography focuses on natural light, thoughtful composition, and the materials and details that give each space its own character.

Based in Seattle, I photograph residential and hospitality projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

A Closer Look at a Custom Home by Azori

I recently worked with Azori (formerly MN Custom Homes) to create a video walkthrough of a completed home in Kirkland, Washington.

I love the opportunity to document a home beyond still photography. Video offers a different perspective, capturing how spaces connect, how the light moves through a home, and the small details that make a project feel finished.

For builders, it's also a great way to give prospective clients a better sense of their work beyond a portfolio of finished images.

Photography Meets Motion

My approach to residential photography is rooted in natural light, thoughtful composition, and an editorial perspective. I want the finished images to feel considered without losing the character of the space.

Video builds on that same approach, giving viewers a sense of the home's layout and flow while highlighting the design details along the way.

Together, photography and video give builders a versatile collection of content to use across their websites, social media, and marketing materials.

Working with Custom Home Builders

I work with builders, architects, and interior designers to create photography and video that showcase their projects in a way that feels true to their work.

Whether it's a newly completed home or an ongoing portfolio of projects, my goal is to create imagery that feels timeless, cohesive, and useful well beyond the initial project launch.

Thanks to the team at Azori for bringing me in to document this home.

Based in Seattle, I work with residential and design-focused brands throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
