Luxury Family Living: Seattle Renovation Photography with Drift Interior Architecture, JC Stoneworks & Craft Custom Cabinets

Working with Drift Interior Architecture, JC Stoneworks, and Craft Custom Cabinets on this Seattle-area renovation was a dream project. The scope focused on transforming key spaces — the kitchen, mudroom, and bathroom — to create a more functional, flowing layout for modern family life. Over the course of the shoot, we captured both photography and video to showcase the design, craftsmanship, and lifestyle aspects of these spaces.

The kitchen was at the heart of the home, featuring custom cabinetry, precise stonework, and thoughtful finishes that balance elegance with usability. The mudroom and bathroom were equally considered, blending practical design with elevated style. Every surface, fixture, and detail contributes to a home that is not only visually stunning but built for real life — where family routines and entertaining flow seamlessly.

My approach as a Seattle interior photographer emphasizes natural light, storytelling, and collaboration. Working closely with the design and construction teams, we tweaked shots to highlight texture, materiality, and atmosphere. Drift Interior Architecture’s vision, JC Stoneworks’ precise stone detailing, and Craft Custom Cabinets’ custom storage solutions all came together to create spaces that are both luxurious and livable.

This renovation exemplifies what I love about interior photography: capturing not just the aesthetics, but the way a space feels to live in. Photography and video work hand-in-hand to convey movement, functionality, and the lifestyle these thoughtfully designed spaces support. The result is a visual story of a home transformed for modern family living — seamless, warm, and elevated in every detail.

Seattle & Snohomish Interior Photography: Kitchen, Mudroom & Laundry by Craft Custom Cabinets & Plumb Perfect Builders

Working with Craft Custom Cabinets and Plumb Perfect Builders in Snohomish, WA, was an absolute joy. This project focused on three key spaces in the home — the kitchen, mudroom, and laundry room — each thoughtfully designed and executed with both style and function in mind. Over the course of the shoot, we captured both photography and video to showcase the craftsmanship, design details, and how these spaces come alive in everyday life.

The kitchen was the heart of the home, featuring custom cabinetry, clean lines, and warm, inviting materials. Natural light poured in, highlighting textures and finishes while creating a sense of openness and connection. The mudroom and laundry spaces were equally thoughtfully designed, blending practicality with elevated style. From clever storage solutions to tactile materials, each area tells a story of functionality meeting beautiful design.

As a Seattle interior photographer, I love collaborating with builders and designers to bring these spaces to life. Craft Custom Cabinets’ precision and Plumb Perfect Builders’ attention to detail made styling and shot composition a dream — we tweaked every angle to capture the perfect balance of aesthetic and utility. By photographing in natural light and focusing on lifestyle-driven imagery, I aimed to highlight not just the design, but how these spaces feel to live in day to day.

This project exemplifies what I love about interiors photography: translating expert craftsmanship into visual storytelling that feels human, approachable, and aspirational. Whether it’s the warmth of a kitchen in use, the organization of a mudroom, or the elegance of a functional laundry space, every shot reflects a home that is thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed.

Green Bay Lakefront Luxury Interior Photography & Video | Seattle Interior Photographer with Chicago Roots

Traveling to Green Bay, Wisconsin, for this lakefront renovation was an absolute dream. Partnering with Designs of the Interior (DOTI) and DeLeers Construction, we documented a massive, high-end overhaul over two full days of photography and video. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be a special project: the team’s energy, attention to detail, and styling expertise made every shot a joy to create.

This was a luxury property at its finest — sleek, modern finishes paired with warm, inviting textures, all taking full advantage of lake views and natural light. Working alongside the DOTI team, we tweaked each frame shot by shot, experimenting with angles, light, and composition to ensure the images truly captured the feeling of living in the space. Every corner of this renovation told a story, and my job was to make it sing through both photography and video.

Collaborating in person with the DOTI team was one of the highlights of the trip — we even went for dinner together, celebrating the space, the design, and the process. I genuinely appreciated how much thought and care they put into styling and presenting the home, and how open they were to collaboration. It’s rare to find clients who are both insanely talented and incredibly fun to work with, and I feel lucky to have documented this project with them.

As a Seattle-based interior photographer with Chicago roots, I love traveling for projects like this across the Midwest. Projects like this allow me to bring my natural-light, lifestyle-focused approach to homes that are both aspirational and deeply personal. Photography and video work hand-in-hand to capture architecture, interiors, and the lived-in feeling that makes a house a home.

This project was a big deal — a luxury lakefront renovation, two full days of shooting, and a truly collaborative creative process. But more than that, it was a reminder of why I love what I do: telling stories of space, light, and lifestyle in ways that feel real, elevated, and human.
